A transparent device that can make certain Pokemon species change. Silph Co. produced it.
The item upgrader is an additional widget at the top of both the Angel and Cash Upgrade Windows. This Manager costs 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no gameplay benefit other than making it easier to purchase upgrades.
Boosters
There are many boosts available with an item upgrader. They can include a range of stats, in addition to a number of extra bonuses. These bonuses can be incorporated into weapons or armor, as well trinkets. They can be used to improve the abilities of a character, or they can be added as an element of variety to a build.
The World of Warcraft upgrade system allows players to upgrade their equipment by paying currency at an upgrader for items. The system was first introduced in Mists of Pandaria, and was further developed in Warlords of Draenor. It's a great method to boost the level of your equipment, allowing you avoid the tedious grind of questing and avoid numerous wipes in Mythic+ dungeons.
When an item is upgraded, its type of base changes. Upgrades to a normal item produce an Exceptional version, whereas upgrades to an Exceptional version create an Elite. The item will retain its previous upgrade stats, but will gain an extra bonus from its new base type. The bonus will be randomly chosen from the following options: a chance to obtain weapons with a higher damage range, a chance to obtain an enhanced reload speed or a chance to acquire a higher max defense roll.
The amount of extras that you gain with an upgrade depends on the amount of upgrades completed. Each upgrade will increase the corresponding extras by a factor of one, up to a maximum value of 3. Each upgrade will also boost the main stats by +1.
In addition to the stat boosts, some upgrades will also give a random secondary boost. These boosts can be quite valuable and should be considered when deciding what items to upgrade. item upgrading of these boosts are only beneficial in certain builds (such Whistan's shield, for FB sorcs) while others can provide a great deal of value to certain collectors.
Some items have a built-in boos that is not useful when upgraded. For instance the Goldwrap provides extra potion slots. These are usually upgraded to add value to a close-to-perfect or perfect item.
Costs
There are a few expenses associated with item upgrades. The first is the cost to perform the upgrade. This price is contingent on the new level of the item and the number of perks it will gain, and can be expensive. Upgrades to a higher level (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) can be costly.
The second is the cost of the materials required for an upgrade. The items used are typically either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21and over) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing certain Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). These materials can be found in the inventory of an Upgrade Vendor.
Upgrades to an item are a complex process that takes time. Based on the magnitude of the upgrade, it can take as long as 8 hours. The upgraded item's base stats are calculated by using the item's new ilvl bonuses, perks, and other properties. This calculation determines new Armor Class bonuses, damage dice, as well as other vital statistics. In some instances an upgrade may grant additional benefits. These perks are available on a list.
In rare cases the upgrade will replace only the most expensive perks. Sometimes, the upgrader will make other modifications to an item, such as changing the type of weapon damage or adding or removing an unwieldy or operational property. These changes are based on an item's ilvl. They may also require special materials, like Adamantine.
Success Rate
The basis for upgrading items is a chance, and like every random system, there's the possibility that the upgrade won't succeed. However, there are a few things which can improve the chances of success. This includes using an item called an Upgrade Pity, or the addition of extra components to the upgrade.
An Upgrade Pity is a product that you can purchase from the smithing NPC in Lost Ark. It increases the odds of an upgrade's success by a percentage. It is similar to the "luck bonus" that certain items provide, but it is more secure. It can be added to any weapon or armor, and can be used up to three times.
It is also possible to add a range of additional elements to the upgrade, which increases its chances of success. item upgrading are displayed in a window above the + button. There are a few limitations. The maximum amount of material you can add is shown directly above the + button.
A Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it, can be used to increase the likelihood of a successful upgrade. This item is useful if your weapon or piece is nearing or has reached the maximum level of its tier. This item will allow you upgrade the equipment to the next level without risking its breaking.
If an upgrade is unsuccessful it will be returned to its original state. This is usually a downgrade, but could also be an upgrade. Save an upgrade until you reach the maximum level for an item.
There are several items in the Kafra shop that can be used to boost the likelihood of an upgrade succeeding. You can increase your chances of success by upgrading equipment multiple times with HD Oridecon and HD Elunium. The success rate will also be enhanced if you boost your chances of receiving a Double Mint by Shoe-Minting five times.
Failure Rate
The upgrader of an item allows players to add an additional slot to their equipment. These slots can be used to upgrade an item or apply an enchantment. It is important to remember that not all items are upgradeable. The rank of an item will determine the speed at which it can be upgraded and enchanted. The higher the rank of an item, the more Zeny and items are required to upgrade it.
This system can be very expensive, particularly for top-of-the-line equipment. It can cost upwards of 100,000 z and 100 Carnium to upgrade an armor or weapon. The chance of success also decreases as you progress in rank. You can increase the chances of upgrading an item using cash shop items.
Normal Upgrade is the most basic upgrade that can be done on armor pieces, weapons and bikes. It consumes different grades of core depending on the kind of item. Most commonly, lower grade items will require low grade cores, while higher grade items will require higher priced ones.

The upgrade window will show a percentage indicator of your odds of success. This percentage is based upon the upgrade level and type of the item you've selected.
You can also choose the option of a security feature for your item which will safeguard your item in the event of failure. The safeguard is not free however the cost will be lower than the cost of a new item. The safeguard can only be used one time per upgrade and will not expire until used again.
The interface for the item upgrader can be a bit confusing, but isn't impossible to navigate. The main menu is displayed on the left, and the upgrade window is on the right. The arrows to the left side of the UI represent the various phases of the upgrade process. If you are not sure what you're doing, you can use the question mark icon to seek help. The upgrade process can take as long as five minutes.
